New Holland Extraction recently attended the Fairking Farmers Day 2023 to learn more about their new cleaning facility. The event was a great opportunity for farmers and businesses to come together and share their expertise and knowledge. Fairking are involved in the growing and cleaning of the borage seed that is then supplied to us at New Holland Extraction.

Over £1 million has been invested into the machine that is used to clean the seeds that are harvested from the British borage. New Holland Extraction are then involved to extract the oils from the seeds. These oils are widely used in medicines, supplements, and skin care products. The farmers who attended the event produce about 90% of the UK’s borage each year, and they partner with our Parent company, De Wit Speciality Oils. Our team at New Holland Extraction is proud to assist in the oil extraction of many of their crops.

The event was a great success, and it was wonderful to meet different businesses and people who are passionate about agriculture and the environment. We had the opportunity to learn more about the new cleaning facility and how it will benefit the farmers and the community. We were impressed by the level of investment and innovation that has gone into this project, and we look forward to seeing the results in the coming years.

We then held another Farmers Day at our site in New Holland to give the framers more insight as to what happens once their borage has been harvested and the extraction process.

Overall, the Farmers events throughout 2023 were a great experience for New Holland Extraction. We are proud to be a part of the agricultural community and to work with farmers to extract high-quality oils from their crops.
